Warning, does have a propensity to enjoy "cult" "grind-house, low budget and big budget B movies.  As Kubrick once said, its not the narrative that is important but a "progression of moods and emotions" that is of most value. Although, if a director is going to give primacy to narrative I won't hold it against them -  they just better make sure its a good one. And at least attempt to remember this is cinema and not theater.
